now only i wanna update bout lifefire camp... buruk oh dis... but never too late...
so Lifefire Camp '09 was held at the end of last semester in May... and boy was it a blast!!!
this is my first time joining them in this camp, but already i was in the committee so yeah... there was alot of work to be done before the camp... but as in previous posts, God was helping us all the way and guess wat... we got 70 people including our speakers!!! that's more than triple the number from the previous camp itself!!!
there were like toons of work to be done, and i went to our venue, which was Pace' Bene in Papar to help set up the sound system... Anne's dad's car was so packed Brengie, Jill and myself could harly move at the back!!! but surprisingly, everything went well... the sound was fairly good... the song slides went well... and everything fit into place just fine... we weren't rushing for time or urgently doing some last minute work so i guess that's God's hand in this...
the speakers were none other than my good friends Dass and Carmelita... and boy, was it good to see them after so long!!! the theme of the camp was based from the scripture passage Jer 29:11 which reads "For I Know The Plans I Have for You..." so basically, we were trying to reach out to the participants about how God has your life all planned out and whether or not we are interested in following that plan...
to summarise the talks, Dass first showed us Our God in the 3 persons He is and the love He pours from those 3 personas... after that on saturday night, there was annointing of the Holy Spirit and let me tell u, i was laughing and crying and drinking fron God's fountain until i nearly drowned!!! for those that do not know what God's fountain is, i'll leave it to another post or maybe for you to experience it yourself.. =)
apart from that, the leaders as well had had our own personal messages from God... i taught i had mine perfectly clear and that this would be very hard for someone to accept but that's another story...
overall, LifeFire Camp was a megablast!!!

the family left on saturday morning, hitched a ferry from Kuala Kedah... checked in at Langkasuka Resort... to me, Langkawi is a reli, reli ghost town ni... not much life going on in that island.... but to continue....
after lunch, we headed to Langkawi Underwater World... reli alot of marine life there but i feel the underwater world in KL is much nicer....
Next day, we went island hopping, to the bird and wildlife sanctuary where the manager is a client of my dad's so we got in for free!!!
and apart from that, we were all shopping for reli, reli cheap chocolates and alcohol!!! this Christmas, i think i'm gonna get high again... lol.... and yeah, duriing the nights at the hotel, mum made screwdriver cocktails for us... woohoo...

of sleeping for 2 hours and succumbing to temptations...
for the past i dunno how many days... i've been sleeping for 2 or 3 hours only... and i'm still up and about the next day.... well, this is cause LIFEFIRE CAMP IS LESS THAN A WEEK AWAY!!! n i've got 2 more papers to worry bout before the camp dis... haih.... so i'm still awake, trying to rush the camp booklet... well, i could have finished it earlier round 1 like that but that's the second part... i'm under attack with temptation and i'm succumbing to em!!!! huhuhu... so much for daily mass la... i'm seriously like open now and i reli, reli, reli need to strengthen my spiritual armour after this... haih... guess this is what it takes to be a leader in ministry... God, i'm reli sorry i'm letting You down in my spiritual preparation... =(
well, at least i've finished half of the booklet already.... just some drawings here n there and pending for some people's section... now i know how my mum feels when she doesn't get enough sleep and still has to move around... cool and yet, dangerous...
all i can say is God reli is blessing LifeFire this year for our camp... after the fundraising earlier at Sacred Heart sunset mass, we've already bagged in nearly 3k man!!! Whoohoo!!! Praise God!!!! Ok la... my head is going blurer by the sec... dunno wat to write now also... lol...

a God-filled, blessed, miraculous weekend...
hello again!!! i just finished another paper... yeah, weird rite to have a final term papaer on a Sunday? this uni just keeps getting weirder by the days, months and who noes.... even by the second soon... =p the paper ah... was can say kinda like.... dunno la!!! reli lazy to do it cause it's not a major, it's not my language.... it's just a freaking cocuricculum paper!!! haih.... but anyways... this weekend, God indeed showed myself and all the LifeFire leaders that reli... HE's gonna start somethin big with us....
just for my update last semester when i first came in to UMS and joined LifeFire, the previous cam, which was also their first camp had only a turn out of 16 people... but nevertheless, the annointing of the Holy Spirit was strong.... according to the participants... well, i was impressed cause it just shows u don't need alot of ppl to get a reli good camp....
but fast forward to this year's camp.... n we're all like... "wat's the target we wanna hit this year?" "how we gonna get our budget?" and all the worries u get in organizing a camp la.... n after months n months of planning... yesterday was our first day to promote our camp to the church... n i was up to give the announcement.... well i'm usually a casual speaker but i was actually nervous n i did stutter here n there... but Anne was like "Bro that was so good!!" n i was like huh? but that's not the point... the point is in just a few minutes of us leaders collecting donations we managed to bag RM 478!!! n we were all like"WAT?!!" but prior to our promotion we did start selling chocolate cookies (*slobber) n that also brought in 600 bucks for our camp... i believe now that God reli is gonna work something in this camp... reli believe it....
plus lagi.... last camp only UMS students participated... this year? we got like 20 plus students from other colleges coming to participate n we're expecting like 50!!! to me, i'm like "God, u reli are gonna do something big rite?" lol.... God God God.... reli wonderful la...
somemore... yup... God reli is working BiG time.... there is another Catholic youth group here in campus... CSG (Catholic Student's Group) n well, it's not to say that they're Lifefire's competition but there has been some segregation... and for a very long time, Anne has tried to work hard to unite Lifefire with CSG to work together in some events... well, at long last... CSG and Lifefire leaders met for the first time yesterday n truly, they were so eager to work with us ni... n we all believe that God will work something through us and spark revival in campus... =)
but there's still alot to be done for camp n my part is like still ??? everyday praying to God that He will budget my time and make room for my studies and also ministry...
ok... now i've gotta study for tomorrow's paper... Biochemistry!!!
signin out bros n sis...
God bless!!!

Happy Belated Easter...
First and foremost, i just wanna let a belated shoutout:
HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!!!!
ahem... with that being said, well it's a new liturgical year in the church and man is there so much to do.... new things to do.... things to let go.... things to forget.... things to change.... lets just say it's been one crazy Holy Week for me recapping the last 2 weeks...
first, it's my 1st Easter away from home.... and well with me involved in LifeFire and helping arrange bus services for the campus people who wanna go for mass... it's been busy.... but there were also problems here n there even in Holy Week.... haih.... the devil sure noes how to mess up your life.... but then thank God for the grace to give me the heart to amend all those wrongs i did.... and bring some people closer... i hope.... but Easter has come and gone... and i'm in the middle of my finals now.... lol.... today's the 3rd day btw... just finished my Kadazandusun paper... can say 70% can do la.... =p the previous 2 days were okay as well... just hoping to come out with As again and with a good pointer... Holding on to Romans 8:28... =p
the last weekend i attended a camp organised by LifeLine: Freedom Camp... thing is since i came to KK here everytime i here the people here like "Freedom Camp coming d" or "Freedom Camp good man" and i'm like what in the world is this Freedom Camp? furtermore the speaker is Jude Antoine, a full time ministry guy who once conducted a seminar for Shalom back home.... so i decided to go for this year's camp and i must say... it's really REALLY good.... well, for one thing i seriously need to let go of some of my bondages.... cause it's really holding me down especially with me being in leadership in campus ministry.... so the pinnacle of the camp was this part where we write all the areas in our life that we wanna give up... all the garbage... and we actually nail them to the cross.... T.T that moment was so painful cause we can sense that Jesus is actually on the cross and we're all nailing Him to death ni... but we all came out free.. Free of sin and free of bondages... the task and challenge now is to live this free life... and i for one noe its gonna be tough cause the devil has just increased all our temptations tenfold... so yeah... still making mistakes here n there but perseverence pays off in Christ... it always does... n i will hold on to God forever even though life round me is collapsing... well not literally la... just saying... =p
2 more weeks of exam... 2 more weeks to LifeFire camp... (still got alot of work to do) and then i go home... =)
