belated post no:3

now only i wanna update bout lifefire camp... buruk oh dis... but never too late...
so Lifefire Camp '09 was held at the end of last semester in May... and boy was it a blast!!!
this is my first time joining them in this camp, but already i was in the committee so yeah... there was alot of work to be done before the camp... but as in previous posts, God was helping us all the way and guess wat... we got 70 people including our speakers!!! that's more than triple the number from the previous camp itself!!!
there were like toons of work to be done, and i went to our venue, which was Pace' Bene in Papar to help set up the sound system... Anne's dad's car was so packed Brengie, Jill and myself could harly move at the back!!! but surprisingly, everything went well... the sound was fairly good... the song slides went well... and everything fit into place just fine... we weren't rushing for time or urgently doing some last minute work so i guess that's God's hand in this...
the speakers were none other than my good friends Dass and Carmelita... and boy, was it good to see them after so long!!! the theme of the camp was based from the scripture passage Jer 29:11 which reads "For I Know The Plans I Have for You..." so basically, we were trying to reach out to the participants about how God has your life all planned out and whether or not we are interested in following that plan...
to summarise the talks, Dass first showed us Our God in the 3 persons He is and the love He pours from those 3 personas... after that on saturday night, there was annointing of the Holy Spirit and let me tell u, i was laughing and crying and drinking fron God's fountain until i nearly drowned!!! for those that do not know what God's fountain is, i'll leave it to another post or maybe for you to experience it yourself.. =)
apart from that, the leaders as well had had our own personal messages from God... i taught i had mine perfectly clear and that this would be very hard for someone to accept but that's another story...
overall, LifeFire Camp was a megablast!!!
*photos update later
